Enya López Sánchez joins the centre as European Projects Manager with support from the Government of Navarra
NAIR Center has taken an important step forward in its growth and consolidation as a leading artificial intelligence research centre in Navarra with the appointment of Enya López Sánchez, a specialist in European project management. This strategic addition has been made possible thanks to funding from the Directorate-General for External Action of the Government of Navarra, aimed at supporting the recruitment of professionals responsible for promoting and managing European projects.
Enya holds a strong academic background in Social and Cultural Anthropology, as well as in Development Strategies and Technologies, and brings valuable international experience. She has worked in countries such as Armenia, Sudan and Bolivia, leading innovative projects in international cooperation and sustainable development. In her most recent position at CETEC, Enya coordinated European projects focused on innovation and sustainability, with a particular emphasis on the agri-food sector and bioplastics — key areas for the future of technology in Navarra.
Her multidisciplinary profile aligns closely with NAIR Center’s objectives to lead technological and research advancement in the region through participation in European projects. With her experience in fundraising, grant management and team leadership, Enya will contribute to strengthening NAIR’s capacity to implement R&D&I projects, with a focus on sustainability and technological innovation in the field of artificial intelligence.
This recruitment has been made possible through support from the Government of Navarra. Its 2024 programme for the recruitment of European project promoters has been instrumental in attracting highly qualified talent to the region. This funding enables centres such as NAIR Center to continue expanding their capabilities and driving research, innovation and development in Navarra. With this new addition, NAIR Center reaffirms its commitment to both basic and applied research, technological innovation and sustainable development in artificial intelligence, consolidating its position as a key player within the European innovation ecosystem.
