NAIR Center hosted the seminar “Ethical Algorithms for Human Development: Principles and Actions”, a meeting to explore how to place human values at the heart of artificial-intelligence systems—both in their design and in their day-to-day use.
Speakers addressed practical frameworks for responsible AI, including fairness, transparency, accountability and explainability; methodologies for impact assessment; criteria for public procurement; and the skills organisations need to implement trustworthy AI in real settings.
The sessions combined conceptual foundations with case studies from public services and industry, and promoted dialogue among researchers, policy-makers and practitioners to identify concrete actions that link technological innovation with social value.
