Close to 600 organisations benefited this year from the services offered by IRIS, Navarra’s Digital Innovation Hub, which expanded its portfolio with 156 new services to accelerate the digital transformation of the regional economy.
These figures were presented at the IRIS annual meeting by the Regional Minister for Universities, Innovation and Digital Transformation, Patricia Fanlo, together with the Minister for Economic and Business Development, Mikel Irujo.
IRIS brings together the Government of Navarra with technology centres, universities, business associations and sectoral clusters to coordinate capabilities and to offer companies a single point of access to test‑before‑invest services, training and expert support.
Over the past year, IRIS strengthened its network of laboratories and demonstration facilities, promoted pilot projects in SMEs and provided specialised training to help organisations adopt advanced technologies, including AI, data analytics and automation.
Minister Fanlo underlined the essential role of IRIS as a driver of innovation and competitiveness and called on organisations to take advantage of the Hub’s services to accelerate Navarra’s digital transformation.
Minister Irujo emphasised that the digital transition is a strategic priority for the region, and highlighted the importance of collaboration between public bodies, research centres and companies to generate high‑impact projects and quality employment.
The meeting also served to share success stories and to recognise the work of the teams involved in delivering services across the IRIS network.
